Ohio Lottery Winners Cash in more than $2.98 billion in prizes in 2024

CLEVELAND – From draw games to scratch-offs, it was a winning year for Ohio Lottery players with an estimated $2.98 billion in winning claims paid out across the state in 2024.
One lucky Ohioan won $19.4 million in the Classic Lotto drawing on November 27. Winners Corner, located at 2036 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road in Reynoldsburg sold the winning ticket.
Ohio sold two jackpot-winning Lucky for Life tickets worth $1,000 a day for life in 2024. The first winning ticket was sold on September 23 at Obetz Shell, 4425 Alum Creek Drive in Columbus.
The second jackpot-winning ticket was sold on November 18 at Tom’s Carry Out, located at 329 ST RT 7 North in Powhatan Point.
As the Ohio Lottery celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, players celebrated with the 50th Anniversary scratch-off. Jeanne from Sandusky won $7.5 million on the ticket sold at Friendship #83, located at 4024 Hayes Ave in Sandusky.
Other notable scratch-off wins include $2.5 million wins on Monopoly 200X. Two players each won $2.5 million on tickets purchased at the Beverage Depot, located at 6300 Mahoning Ave in Youngstown and UDF #154, located at 5654 Vine St in Cincinnati.
A player won $2 million on Money Maker. The winning ticket was sold at Kroger #804, located at 801 N Houk Road in Delaware.
Mega Millions created six new millionaires.
