Public Notice - June 20, 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Ohio Lottery Commissions intends to adopt administrative rules in proposed form. A public hearing will be conducted on June 20, 2024, at the Frank J. Lausche building, 615 West Superior Avenue, 4th floor, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 at 9:30 A.M. in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act, (Chapter 119, Ohio Revised Code). Any person affected by the proposed action may appear and be heard in person, by the person’s attorney, or both; may present the person’s position, arguments, or contention, orally or in writing; offer and examine witnesses; and present evidence tending to show that the proposed rule, amendment, or revision, if adopted or effectuated will be unreasonable or unlawful.
The rules to be considered for adoption in proposed form are Ohio Lottery Administrative Rules: 3770:0-4-09, 3770:1-2-02, 3770:1-2-03, 3770:1-5-03, 3770:1-5-10, 3770:1-9-53, 1-9-55, 1-9-955 + Appendix, 1-9-958 + Appendix, and 1-9-959 + Appendix.

These rules to be considered for adoption are related to compensation and reimbursement of expenses to be paid licensed lottery sales agents, Administrative Procedure Act, adoption, amendment or rescission of rules by the commission, powers and duties of the commission, financial administration, Ohio lottery game rule number fifty-three (Classi Lotto), Ohio lottery game rule number fifty-five (Keno), Ohio lottery game rule number nine hundred fifty-five (Powerball) plus appendix, Ohio lottery game rule number nine hundred fifty-eight (Mega Millions) plus appendix, and Ohio lottery game rule number nine hundred fifty-nine (The Lucky One) plus appendix.
These rules to be considered for rescission are Ohio Lottery Administrative Rules: 3770:1-9-941, 1-9-942, and 1-9-949.

The rules are Ohio Lottery game number nine hundred forty-one, which outlines game play for an older version of the Mega Millions game, Ohio lottery game number nine hundred forty-two, which outlines game rules for “power ball”, and Ohio lottery game number nine hundred forty-nine, which outlines game rules for “Ohio 50/50”.
