What is Lottery Cash?
Lottery Cash can be used to purchase Lottery products such as Scratch-Offs or Draw games at any Ohio Lottery Retailer.
What are Lottery Coupons?
Lottery Coupons can be used to purchase specific Lottery games at Ohio Lottery Retailers and qualified self-service terminals for a discounted price.
How can Customers purchase Lottery Cash & Coupons?
Customers can purchase Lottery Cash & Coupons by using points from their MyLotto Rewards® account. Customers must login to their MyLotto Rewards® account and click on Redemption Central to access Lottery Cash & Coupons.
Where can Customers purchase Lottery Cash & Coupons?
Lottery Cash & Coupons can only be purchased on MyLotto Rewards® through the Ohio Lottery Website or through the Ohio Lottery Mobile App.
How much do Lottery Cash & Coupons cost?
Lottery Cash & Coupon prices are not at a set price. The amount of points required to purchase Lottery Cash & Coupons may change on a regular basis.
Where can customers access the Lottery Cash & Coupons that they purchased?
Customers can find the Lottery Cash & Coupons that they purchased in My Lottery Cash & Coupons under My Account.
Where can Customers use their Lottery Cash & Coupons?
Customers can use their Lottery Cash & Coupons at any Ohio Lottery Retailer or qualified self-service terminal.
How do Customers use their Lottery Cash & Coupons?
To use Lottery Cash & Coupons, a customer will show you the bar code on their phone or a printed out copy of their Lottery Cash and/or Coupon. They can also scan the bar code on all self-service terminals except for the Winstations. Customers must use the entire balance of their Lottery Cash and/or Coupon in one transaction. Any remaining balance will be forfeited.
Can a Customer use their Lottery Cash & Coupons more than once?
Each Lottery Cash & Coupon is valid for one transaction.
Can a Customer use more than one Lottery Cash and/or Coupon per transaction?
Yes, a customer may use more than one Lottery Cash & Coupon per transaction. For example, if they are purchasing a $20 scratch-off, they may use two $10 Lottery Cash, or one $10 Lottery Cash and one $10 Lottery Coupon together to pay for their ticket.
A customer used their Lottery Cash at a self-service terminal and there is a remaining balance. Can they voucher out?
No. All Lottery Cash must be used in one purchase. If a customer has a remaining balance on the terminal and they try to voucher it out, they will receive an error message. Their options are to use the remaining balance or forfeit it and leave it on the terminal.
When do Lottery Cash & Coupons expire?
Please refer to the expiration dates on the Lottery Cash & Coupons.
How will I know what Lottery Cash & Coupons have already been redeemed?
You will receive a message if you try to scan Lottery Cash & Coupons that have already been redeemed.
Do I have to enter anything differently when I scan the Customer’s Lottery Cash and/or Coupons?
No. All you have to do is scan the bar code. The Lottery Cash and/or Coupon will automatically appear in the shopping cart. You can scan the bar code before or after scanning the Lottery product(s).
How will Lottery Cash appear in the Shopping Cart?
Lottery Cash will appear as Promotion Coupon and the denomination of what the Lottery Cash is worth.
How do I complete a purchase with Lottery Cash?
Scan the Lottery Cash barcode, add the rest of the customer’s purchase, then complete the purchase as normal.
How will Lottery Coupons appear in the Shopping Cart?
Lottery Coupons will appear as Promotion Coupon with a $0.00 balance.
How do I complete a purchase with a Lottery Coupon?
Scan the Lottery Coupon barcode then select “Redeem All Cash.” The ticket will automatically print. DO NOT add the ticket to the Shopping Cart that the coupon is for.
Will Lottery Cash appear on my Lottery reports?
Yes. Lottery Cash will appear on the adjustment line and will be included on any of your financial reports that include the adjustment line. To access these reports, you will need to sign in as a manager and pull the Summary Report from the Management Reports. The Financial Adjustment Report will show the Lottery Cash that has been validated and at what amounts.
Will Lottery Coupons appear on my Lottery reports?
Yes. Lottery Coupons will appear on the coupon field as credit. There is also a coupon report that can be run on the Photon. You will be able to view this information on the standard sales report that does not require you to sign in as a manager. The Coupon Report will show the Lottery Coupons that have been validated and at what amounts.
Will I receive commission on the sale with Lottery Cash & Coupons?
Yes. Commissions will be applied to all sales purchased using Lottery Cash & Coupons.
