Maybe it's about being in the right place at the right time, but today's winner stories are all about geography!
Jodi won the top prize of $500,000 playing $500,000 Cashword! She said she wasn't sure she had won because she missed a letter, but when she scanned the ticket she realized it was a $500,000 winner.
This big winner bought her ticket at Cenco in Brunswick, a location she said she would have never visited if she hadn't met her boyfriend who lives nearby!
She has plans to share her winnings with her daughters, put some money away for her grandchildren, invest some for the future, and take a vacation for Christmas. Jodi also bought her boyfriend a new car.
"Giving is what I like to do, it makes me feel good to see people smile," Jodi said.
Cooper just finished a round of golf with some buddies at Nash Golf Enterprises in New Lexington, and he decided to play EZPLAY Going Pro.
After encouraging one of his buddies to give it a try, Cooper bought a ticket for himself.
He said he didn't know what the jackpot was up to at that time, but when he realized he won, he scanned his ticket with the Ohio Lottery mobile app and discovered he won the $51,635 progressive jackpot.
"After I scanned the ticket I about fell on the floor!" Cooper said about the winning moment.
It's Cooper's biggest win, and he's decided to invest the money to build or buy a house in the future.
He also bought a round for the entire clubhouse! Cheers!
