“Josh is an excellent teacher. Over the last year, Josh has led some positive changes to our curriculum. On top of teaching physics and robotics, Josh worked with a professor at Notre Dame College to create a College Credit Plus physics class for the students at Holy Name... Josh has also improved our robotics curriculum and took a team to their first competition. Finally, Josh has been instrumental in the acquisition of a laser cutter. For all of his amazing improvements to our curriculum for our students, I believe that Josh is very deserving of some recognition.” - Walt Dodd, Administrator

“Mrs. Lloyd is one of the most caring, compassionate, child-centered teachers you will come across. She is dedicated and subscribes to the ‘do whatever it takes’ philosophy shared in our school.” - Brian Burkett, Administrator

“Teri is starting her 35th year in education. She is an accomplished teacher and leader. She has been on all our leadership teams throughout her career. She is so great with every student and staff member, and she is a pleasure to work with.” – Thom Maxwell, Principal

“Mr. Nick Leone goes out of his way to make geometry lessons interesting for his students. He uses very creative ideas to link geometry to everyday living. Students relate to him because he tries to find ways to make them successful so that they are not afraid to try in his class. He has a great sense of humor and knows students well. He is a shining example of what an outstanding teacher/coach is for high school students.” - Karol Warden, Coach

“Holly is an all-out wonderful teacher. She goes out of her way to make sure her students and parents have a great day. She communicates with parents on a daily notice. She knows how to handle her students who struggle with their daily lives… She is a teacher that listens to each child to help them achieve their goal.” - Chris Maynard
“I am consistently impressed with Mr. Reese’s

connection with students, communication with parents/guardians and overarching encouragement. He sets the tone for the year effectively by sharing a letter he’s written to his class. His humility as a ‘complex multidimensional human being’ invites students to view him and their classmates with respect… His goal is to deliver them a world-class education because each of them is worthy of it.” - Bridget Boardman, Parent

“Mrs. Barber is a teacher that goes above and beyond for all students. Mrs. Barber gives time before and after school as well as her lunchtime to assist students in their learning. Mrs. Barber provides an engaging and fast-paced learning opportunity for 8th graders that show positive results on end-of-the-year state testing. She is innovative in her teaching and brings many STEM-related activities to her class.” - Jake Walgate, Administrator
“I have had the pleasure of working with Matthew Utz

for the past three years. During this time, Matthew had many roles at the RBC middle school including long-term substitute teacher, COVID Support Specialist and Bridges to Success Interventionist. Matthew adapted to each role quickly and he demonstrates the utmost professionalism each day. He has gained valuable experiences in his short career which have allowed him to make a huge impact on the lives of his students.” - Linda Brown, Peer Teacher

“Outside of being an effective classroom teacher, Mrs. Leach coaches middle school volleyball and participates in high school athletic rallies. Also, Mrs. Leach trained out district personnel on our PD days prior to the school year and gave direction, understanding and developed step-by-step instructions for our district in restart readiness. She is a superstar teacher, person and leader.” - Joe Rowe, Administrator.
