$2-million annuity prize for Hit the Jackpot sold in Columbus

COLUMBUS – Kwasi Prempeh of Glen Burnie, MD is going back home with a $2-million annuity top prize win in the Ohio Lottery’s $20 scratch-off, Hit the Jackpot.

He purchased his winning ticket at Circle Mart, located at 1876 Tamarack Circle South in Columbus.

The top prize is an annuity, paid as $80,000 a year for 25 years before taxes. Kwasi chose the $- million cash option equivalent and will receive approximately $720,000 after federal and state tax withholdings. The store receives a $10,000 sales bonus.

As of May 10, there is one $2-million annuity prize remaining in Hit the Jackpot, as well as other great prizes. Kwasi beat odds of 1 in 1.0 million to win.
