CLEVELAND – Hussein Harmouche of Parma received a welcome May surprise after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 5 game. He won a total of $25,208.50 playing the midday Pick 5 drawing held May 1.
He purchased his winning ticket at Transmart Restaurant & Grocery, located at 3608 Woodland Avenue in Cleveland.
Hussein’s winning wager is what’s called a backup bet, allowing him to win by matching all five numbers in exact order ($25,000) or any order ($208.50). The winning numbers were: 7-2-9-0-5.
He will receive approximately $18,150 after federal and state tax withholdings. The odds of matching all numbers in exact order are 1 in 100,000.
